The challenge was to launch the 6th generation of the BMW 3 Series, the ULTIMAT3, in India, with maximum online buzz and excitement that would convert to sales. The campaign showcased the previous 5 generations of the model and their milestones, creating an effective build up for the all-new BMW 3 series launch. By integrating social media in order to connect with the audience, Isobar was able to generate online buzz. The newly announced brand ambassador, Sachin Tendulkar, became a fan of the brand’s Facebook page, adding to the hype. We effectively used Facebook features such as Milestones and Timeline for an educative contest, All About Ultimat3. The campaign was a success, with 4000 registrations for test drives.
