Mr. Shamsuddin Jasani, the Managing Director of Isobar India, is a stalwart in the Indian digital industry, who has featured in e4m's Impact Magazine in Digital Power 100 for two years in a row. He is also an A-lister in the Campaign India list of top 500 people in Advertising and Marketing in India.

Shams, as he is fondly known, has spent over 14 years in the digital medium across agencies like Hungama, Mediaturf and Apnaloan, before launching Isobar in India in 2008. Since then, he has grown the agency from a zero to over 50 million dollars in billing and led the agency to win 4 Agency of the Year Awards in 2012, 2014 and 2015.

Gopa heads strategic planning and media buying across Digital & Emerging New Media for Isobar India. His position entails a gamut of responsibilities like social media, mobile marketing, web analytics, communications planning, strategic partnerships and business expansion. Gopa was previously heading MEC Interaction and Group M where he handled a massive range of clients like GM, Philips, British Airways, Adidas, Reebok, BMW, Ray-Ban, Goodyear, LG Electronics, Accenture, BOSE, Perfetti, Finnair, Honda Motors & Scooters India Limited, ITC Wills Lifestyle, John Players, Autodesk, Discovery Channel, Virgin Atlantic, Havells, Michelin, Reebok, Accenture, Singapore Tourism Board, Montecarlo, GEMoney, Expedia and Hitachi.

Anish Varghese

Since he set foot in the digital industry, Anish has been passionate about blending art with technology. He comes to Isobar with 15+ years of experience in nurturing a creative squad of art and copy enthusiasts into strategic thinkers. At Interactive Avenues (2006 – 2013), he was the driving force behind the success of brands like Fiat, Skoda Fabia, Mahindra SUVs, FedEx, Siemens, Bosch, Tanishq, Durex, Sony, Intel, Jet Airways, Travelocity, etc. He has also worked at Flip Media(2006) on Mercedes Benz, Red Bull, Dubai Festival and Qatar Airways. Prior to this, he handled Philips, Maruti Swift, Air France and Malaysian Airlines at Tribal DDB India (2004).

A computer engineer by qualification, Chandrashekhar followed his heart and has been part of the digital advertising industry for more than 2 decades. He has headed Digital SBUs at renowned agencies like Ogilvy One, Cheil Worldwide, and Maxus. Armed with an overall industry experience, he has worked across media verticals like television, film, internet, ecommerce, mobile, social, online media and new technology, as well as industry verticals like FMCG, IT, entertainment, BFSI, education, telecom, etc. Chandrashekhar has worked with Nokia, Cisco, British Airways, Perfetti, American Express, Samsung, etc. He brings in a rich experience of integrating teams, to collaboratively conceptualise award winning digital advertising solutions and execute them successfully.

BMW ULTIMAT3

The challenge was to launch the 6th generation of the BMW 3 Series, the ULTIMAT3, in India, with maximum online buzz and excitement that would convert to sales. The campaign showcased the previous 5 generations of the model and their milestones, creating an effective build up for the all-new BMW 3 series launch. By integrating social media in order to connect with the audience, Isobar was able to generate online buzz. The newly announced brand ambassador, Sachin Tendulkar, became a fan of the brand’s Facebook page, adding to the hype. We effectively used Facebook features such as Milestones and Timeline for an educative contest, All About Ultimat3. The campaign was a success, with 4000 registrations for test drives.
