Role & Responsibilities

  • Come up with compelling concepts, content and creative communication for projects in accordance with the event theme and client’s requirements.
  • Attend client meetings and sell concepts to clients.
  • Participate in strategic brainstorming sessions, campaign development and creative brief development.
  • Provide team with a clear understanding on the brief & all deliverables; Train team to conceptualize large scale events, activations, AVs etc.
  • Guide and mould a thought to ensure brief’s requirements are met.
  • Utilise copy/concept skills & excellent language skills to deliver original, attractive, focused, compelling and creative copy for all event related communication - concept notes, presentations, events scripts, compere scripts, AVs, brochures, invites, posters etc.
  • Develop an understanding of the brand, brand guidelines (words, colours), the client’s core message, target audience and other needs of the client (business requirements, budget etc.).
  • Project conversion for existing and new clients.
  • Coordination with internal teams- Effective communication of the final copy to relevant internal departments-Design, CS, Production & vendors (for final execution).

Role & Responsibilities

  • Receive & understand the briefs from the Client Service person.
  • Propose executable, innovative ideas & explore new technology for events.
  • Work on effective and feasible costings and layouts as per the brief & elements of the design.
  • Planning, developing & managing of clients projects – typically several at once. In charge of determining a project’s schedule, scope & budget, and directing appropriate team members in fulfilling the specifications to meet client & company objectives.
  • Vendor Management: Sourcing vendors; maintaining a vendor database; finalizing the cost of materials & resources with the vendors; co-ordination on material delivery on time.
  • Execution of the Event- conduct a recce when required; effective planning, thinking on the event; oversee the event set up; ensure that on site quality is delivered as promised by Client Service.
  • Arrangement of advances through the Commercial department for payment to vendors, agencies, etc.
  • Negotiating with vendors, other agencies on cost reduction and availability of resources prior to the event.
  • Arrangement of payments to vendors, other agencies after the event.
  • Taking the initiative to close all costs and the payment advice at the end of the event.
  • Team Management: allocation of briefs; planning of internal resources for the event; supervision of team’s work to ensure that client briefs are adhered to & closed; guide team members & step in on any escalations; assigning KRAs & making sure team member understand the job description well; identifying training & development needs of the team & ensuring same is met in co ordination with HR.
  • Staying updated on the latest practices in the Events industry & implementing the latest technologies.

    • Mapping needs of new brands/clients & generate business from them.
    • Meet the client to attain a clear understanding on the idea and close the brief.
    • Coordinate with the Concept team to receive the concept within the timeframe required. Make the necessary changes to compile a final presentation, ready to present to a client.
    • Receive the Designs from Creative & send the same along with the brief to the Operations team for the Costing.
    • Receive the Cost Sheet from Production. Check every element of the costing & ensure that this cost sheet contains all elements as laid out in the presentation.
    • Meet the client to close the brief.
    • Client Satisfaction & retention.
    • Ability to upsell.
  • Event Execution & Post Event Closures:
    • Coordinate with all stakeholders involved in the event to ensure the delivery of creatives, art work, set design and all other elements of the event. All elements must be as desired by the client.
    • One may be present at the event and oversee that all goes as planned and the client is satisfied.
    • Oversee the overall production quality of the event.
    • Ensure the delivery of all promises to the client. Be available to address any queries of the client.
    • In the case that the client requires any additional elements, one must hand over the Onsite Requirements Form to the client. The approved form may then be handed over to Operations.

  • Creative Output on briefs received:
    • Meet with Client Service team/ Client & understand briefs
    • Develop design briefs by gathering information and data through research
    • Visualise, brainstorm, ideate & transform ideas into 3D elements like stages, set ups, exhibition stalls etc.
    • Sketch ideas whenever required
