Where the vulnerable are equipped, shown the pathway to progress and prosper in life. Be it through entertainment or education, we make it possible with our perseverance and skills.
This year, DAN India’s focus is to educate the underprivileged and the marginalised. Keeping in line with this endeavour, DAN designed an annual campaign called ‘DAN DISHA’. The campaign is aimed at becoming the guiding light for hundreds of children across India.
Two phases of this campaign have unfolded till date – STORYTIME and One Day For Change.
STORYTIME – DAN organised a book collection drive, where story books were donated by the employees. In order to inculcate the habit of reading, volunteers visited two NGOs, and read out stories to the children.
One Day For Change - This year, the theme of ‘One Day For Change’, DAN’s Global CSR day, was also ‘Champion For Children’, which corresponded with DAN India’s Annual theme. Nearly 1,500 employees volunteered over 6,000 staff hours for the initiative, touching the lives of more than 2,500 children.
