After a flurry of account wins over the last 12 months including brands like General Motors, Microsoft, Sony, Nokia, MasterCard, British Airways, JSW Steel and Cement, Popees and Ruosh to name a few, Carat India has restructured its team with a number of old hands being promoted to new functions and hiring of key people.
Rajni Menon who has played a key role in the growth of the agency and who until last year was leading DAN Empower has been promoted to an Executive Vice President taking on the additional responsibility of GM, Philips and British Airways to name a few. Menon has over 12 years of experience and has worked across agencies such as Initiative Lintas Media, ZOG, Mindhsare Fulcrum, GroupM Media, Universal McCann and Madison Communications.
Ritesh Dutt, joins Carat as a Vice President from Milward Brown where he was leading their Media Practice for the last 3 years. With his vast experience of 17 years across agencies like OMD, Zenith Optimedia, Group M and Vivaki, Dutt will take charge of the Sony, Muthoot, adidas and Reebok and MasterCard Accounts apart from brands like Mother Dairy and Wave and PVR.
Chandra Dobhal, who was leading the buying and operations for Carat North has been promoted to Vice President and is the National Head for Buying and Implementation for Carat India. He has over 20 years of experience and in past has worked at Concept Communications and Percept H.
Joydeep Raha, has been elevated to Executive Vice President and continues to manage the South operations of Carat from Bangalore, Chennai and Kochi. He has over 17 years of experience and worked across agencies such as Bates Clarion, Enterprise Nexus and Lintas Media Group.
Himanka Das continues to lead the Carat operations in West managing businesses like Disney UTV, Mattel, Total and Vistaprint to name a few. Das has also been there for over two decades and worked across big agencies such as Madison, FCB Ulka and Lintas Media.
