Red Bull gives Dentsu Webchutney wings, chooses agency as digital partner

The verdict for Red Bull's digital pitch is out. The energy drink brand has assigned its digital business to Dentsu Webchutney, Dentsu Aegis Network's digital agency, according to sources close to the development. Brand Equity had reported that the pitch was underway in Mumbai, in November. Bhaskar Sharma, general manager at Red Bull, was unavailable for comment at the time of filing this report.

Apart from Webchutney, other agencies such as Indigo Consulting and iContract were in the fray for the business, among many others.

For the record, the brand has worked very closely with 22feet Tribal Worldwide for its digital initiatives, over the last one year.
